England in 1837, Perry had been treated by
Dr Simpson, Australia’s first homœopath. Dr Perry (doctor of divinity) was the first Anglican Bishop of Melbourne.
Perry and his wife became keen supporters of homœopathy in Melbourne. Bishop Perry was Patron of the Melbourne Homœopathic Dispensary.
Mrs Perry was one of the instigators for the establishment of the Melbourne Homœopathic Hospital. She became the Patron of the Melbourne Homœopathic Hospital.
