Dr Simmons (MD St Andrews 1862; MRCS England and LSA London 1859) was an Honorary Physician at the Liverpool Homœopathic Dispensary. After he emigrated to Australia, he was listed in the 1886 and 1892 editions of the Australasian Medical Directory with a practice at 30 Alberto Terrace, Darlinghurst NSW. During the same year he provided services, once a week, to the newly-formed Sydney Homœopathic Dispensary.
When Melbourne homœopath, Dr Maffey, moved to Sydney, he temporarily resided at the premises of Dr Simmons.
Dr Simmons died in Sydney in 1900.
