Martin & Pleasance also distributed their products wholesale via this company. Throughout 1897 The West Australian contained an advertisement for Martin & Pleasance of Collins Street Melbourne, which also mentioned Felton, Grimwade & Co. Felton & Grimwade commenced business in Melbourne in 1867, and became the largest drug house in the company , with subsidiary interests in New Zealand and Western Australia. The name of ‘Felton’ is famous in Melbourne for the ‘Felton Bequest’ for the arts.
