Advertisement for B. Grummet, 1881

In the 1881 edition of the Directory of South Australia, B. Grummet placed an advertisement for his business as a chemist and druggist at 58 Rundle Street Adelaide. In addition to homœopathic medicines, he sold domestic medicines, German, French, English and American patent medicines, a large stock of herbs, and horse and cattle medicines. He promised that country orders by post or telegram would be “promptly attended to”.
