In 1871, in the June, July and August editions of Notes on Homœopathy, published in Hobart, Messrs Hinsby & Calvert of 67 Elizabeth Street, Hobart Town, advertised that they

 

Regularly import homœopathic medicines, globules, tinctures, pilules, medicines, &c, books, cocoa, &c, from Messrs Leat and Ross, &c, London.

 

Hinsby & Calvert were listed in MacPhaill’s Directory of Tasmania for 1867, but it is unknown if their stock included homœopathic products at that stage.
