In the Australasian Medical Directory of 1900 Dr Weston was listed with the following qualifications: LSA London 1871, MRCS England 1871, MA 1873, BA 1865 Sydney, Pre Sci MB London 1868. In 1871 he was House Surgeon and Physicians Assistant at the University College Hospital in London.

 

Dr Watson was first registered in Australia on 6 January 1873. In the 1883 Medical Directory he was listed as the only practitioner at Bombala, NSW, where he was the Honorary Medical Officer at the Bombala Hospital. In 1886 he was at “Sunnyside”, Stanmore Road, Stanmore – one of two practitioners in the town. By 1892 he had moved to 150 Elizabeth Street in Sydney, the same location as William Moore’s electric baths.

 

During 1892 he provided services, once a week, to the newly-formed Sydney Homœopathic Dispensary. In the NSW Post Office Directory for 1900 and 1902 he was listed as a homœopathic physician with a practice at 150 Elizabeth Street, Sydney.

 

Dr Watson was a regular contributor to the publication Homœopathic World. He died at Balmain on 2 February, 1911.
