Dr Egland graduated from Boston University School of Homœopathic Medicine in 1895. He became registered in Australia on April 4 1902. He was employed by the Melbourne Homœopathic Hospital. According to the 1911 edition of the Australasian Medical Directory, he was at 7 Collins Street (the same premises as Dr Bouton). According to the 1915 Directory, he was at 80 Glenlyon Road, Brunswick.
