John Fogan was listed in the 1898 NSW Country Trade Register as being a a homœopathic chemist in Newcastle. John Foggon was recorded in the NSW Post Office Directories of 1900 to 1904 as being a ‘homœopathist’ at 269 Hunter Street West, Newcastle. In 1904 his practice was apparently next-door to that of Arthur Ludlow, another lay homœopath, who was at 267 Hunter Street.
