Dr Hart was an American who graduated from Boston University School of Homœopathic Medicine in 1907, and in the same year joined the Resident staff of the Melbourne Homœopathic Hospital. After a three-year term he moved to Ouyen to run a country practice. The 1915 edition of the Australasian Medical Directory Dr Hart was recorded as being Health Officer and Public Vaccinator for the Shire of Walpney, and Military Examiner. In the following year he returned to Melbourne and was an Honorary Medical Officer of the Melbourne Homœopathic Hospital from 1917 to 1943.
